Air Fryer Breaded Fish Fillets

Crispy breaded fish fillets cooked in an air fryer for a healthier alternative to frying.

Ingredients

  • 4 fish fillets (cod, tilapia, or your choice)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder in a bowl.
  3. Place flour in another bowl and beaten eggs in a third bowl.
  4. Coat each fish fillet in flour, then dip in eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Place breaded fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Spray lightly with cooking spray.
  6. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
  7. Serve hot with lemon wedges or tartar sauce.

Notes

  • Use fresh or thawed fish fillets for best results.
  • Adjust cooking time based on fillet thickness.
  • For extra crispiness, spray fillets lightly with oil before cooking.
