Air Fryer Crab Cakes

Crispy and flavorful crab cakes made easily in an air fryer.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb crab meat, drained and picked for shells
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix crab meat, breadcrumbs, egg, mayonnaise, mustard, Old Bay seasoning, onion, parsley, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  2. Form the mixture into 6 equal-sized patties.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Place the crab cakes in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  5. Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Use fresh crab meat for the best flavor.
  • If the mixture is too wet, add more breadcrumbs.
  • Do not overcrowd the air fryer to ensure even cooking.
