Air Fryer Crispy Tofu with Honey Soy Glaze

A delicious and easy recipe for crispy tofu coated in a sweet and savory honey soy glaze, made effortlessly in an air fryer.

  • 14 oz firm tofu
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ginger powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Press the tofu to remove excess moisture and cut it into cubes.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, garlic powder, ginger powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the tofu cubes to the marinade and let them soak for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle cornstarch over the marinated tofu and toss to coat evenly.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  6. Place the tofu in the air fryer basket in a single layer and drizzle with olive oil.
  7. Air fry for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until crispy and golden brown.
  8. Serve hot, drizzled with any remaining honey soy glaze.

Notes

  • For a vegan version, substitute honey with maple syrup.
  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey according to your taste.
  • Serve with steamed vegetables or over rice for a complete meal.
