Crispy and flavorful air fryer panko crusted cod. A quick and healthy meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 cod fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix panko, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a shallow dish.
  3. Beat the egg in another dish.
  4. Dip each cod fillet in egg, then coat with panko mixture.
  5. Place fillets in the air fryer basket and drizzle with olive oil.
  6. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway.
  7. Check internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, spray with cooking oil before air frying.
  • Serve with lemon wedges or tartar sauce.
