Apple Cider Glazed Pork Chops

Juicy pork chops glazed with a sweet and tangy apple cider reduction.

Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in pork chops (1 inch thick)
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Season pork chops with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear pork chops for 4-5 minutes per side until browned. Remove from skillet.
  4. Add apple cider, vinegar, brown sugar, mustard, and thyme to the skillet. Bring to a simmer.
  5. Return pork chops to skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes, flipping once, until glazed and cooked through.
  6. Serve hot with extra glaze spooned over the top.

Notes

  • Use fresh apple cider for best flavor.
  • Adjust sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar.
  • Let pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving.
