A delicious and quick dessert made with bananas, toffee, and cream on a biscuit base.

  • 200g digestive biscuits
  • 100g unsalted butter, melted
  • 397g can of sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 300ml double cream
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Crush the digestive biscuits and mix with melted butter.
  2. Press the mixture into the base of a pie dish to form the crust.
  3. In a saucepan, heat the sweetened condensed milk over low heat, stirring constantly until it turns a caramel color.
  4. Pour the toffee over the biscuit base and let it cool.
  5. Slice the bananas and layer them on top of the toffee.
  6. Whip the double cream until soft peaks form and spread it over the bananas.
  7. Dust with cocoa powder before serving.

Notes

  • Make sure to let the toffee cool before adding the bananas.
  • For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate shavings instead of cocoa powder.
  • This pie can be made a few hours in advance and stored in the fridge.
