BBQ Rib Recipe (Tender Oven-Baked BBQ Ribs)

Tender oven-baked BBQ ribs with a smoky, sweet glaze.

Ingredients

  • 2 racks of pork ribs (about 4 lbs)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp honey

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 275°F (135°C).
  2. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs.
  3. Mix brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne in a bowl.
  4. Rub the spice mix evenly over both sides of the ribs.
  5. Wrap the ribs tightly in aluminum foil and place on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender.
  7. Mix BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, and honey in a bowl.
  8. Remove ribs from foil, brush with the BBQ sauce mixture.
  9. Broil for 5 minutes until the glaze caramelizes.
  10. Rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Use baby back ribs for best results.
  • Adjust cayenne for desired spice level.
  • Let ribs rest before slicing for juicier results.
