  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract to the yeast mixture and mix well.
  3. Gradually add flour and salt, mixing until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  6. In a separate bowl, mix brown sugar, chopped pecans, and cinnamon.
  7. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread the pecan mixture evenly over the surface.
  8. Roll the dough tightly and cut into 12 equal pieces.
  9. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  10. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  11. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar and milk until smooth and drizzle over warm rolls.
