This Buffalo Chicken Bake is the ultimate comfort food twist filled with shredded chicken, spicy buffalo sauce, melty cheese, and a creamy ranch swirl, all wrapped in golden pizza dough. It’s the perfect easy dinner, party snack, or game day crowd-pleaser. Rustic, cheesy, and packed with bold flavor!

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded (rotisserie works great)
  • 1 ball pizza dough (store-bought, thawed if frozen)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce, divided
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional, for brushing)
  • Flour, for rolling dough

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment or lightly grease it.
  2. Mix the chicken with 1/4 cup of buffalo sauce in a bowl until well coated. Set aside.
  3. Make the sauce base by stirring together the remaining 1/4 cup buffalo sauce and the ranch dressing.
  4. Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle about 12×15 inches.
  5. Spread the buffalo-ranch sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.
  6. Layer on the chicken, then sprinkle both cheeses evenly over the top.
  7. Roll it up tightly from the long edge into a log shape. Pinch the seam and ends to seal.
  8. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet. Brush with olive oil if desired.
  9. Bake for 30 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  10. Let rest 5–10 minutes before slicing with a serrated knife. Serve with extra ranch or buffalo sauce if desired.

Notes

  • Add diced celery or green onions for a little crunch inside.
  • A few tablespoons of cream cheese make this even richer.
  • Make two rolls for game day—they disappear fast!
