  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 3 cups diced apples
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Combine flour, granulated sugar, and salt in a bowl. Cut in butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Press half of the mixture into the pan for the crust. Bake for 10 minutes.
  4. Toss apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Spread over the crust.
  5. Drizzle caramel sauce over the apples. Mix oats into the remaining crumb mixture and sprinkle on top.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden. Cool before cutting into bars.
