Cauliflower Pizza Crust

A healthy, gluten-free alternative to traditional pizza crust made with cauliflower, perfect for low-carb diets.

  • 1 medium head cauliflower, riced (about 4 cups)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Rice the cauliflower by pulsing florets in a food processor until fine.
  3. Microwave or steam the riced cauliflower for 4-5 minutes, then let it cool slightly.
  4. Wrap the cauliflower in a clean towel and squeeze out excess moisture.
  5. Mix the cauliflower with egg, mozzarella, Parmesan, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  6. Spread the mixture onto the baking sheet, shaping it into a thin, even crust.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and firm.
  8. Add toppings if desired and bake for another 5-10 minutes.
