  • 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the diced potatoes and cook for about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the flour and cook for another 2 minutes.
  4. Gradually add the broth, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
  5. Pour in the milk and bring to a simmer.
