Cheesy Beef Potato Burritos

A hearty and flavorful dish combining seasoned beef, melted cheese, and potatoes wrapped in a warm tortilla.

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 large potatoes, diced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add diced potatoes and cook until tender, about 10 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  4. Season beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  5. Mix potatoes back into the beef.
  6. Warm tortillas in a dry pan or microwave.
  7. Divide the beef and potato mixture among the tortillas.
  8. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
  9. Fold tortillas into burritos and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated cheese for better melting.
  • Add hot sauce or sour cream for extra flavor.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
