  • 1 large head of cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Steam the cauliflower florets until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, garlic, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
  4. Add the steamed cauliflower to the cream mixture and stir to coat.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle with cheddar and Parmesan cheese.
  6. If using, top with breadcrumbs for added crunch.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
