Ingredients
Scale
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
8 slices of prosciutto
8 fresh sage leaves
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
4 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 cup white wine
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Place a sage leaf on each chicken breast and top with a slice of prosciutto.
Lightly coat each chicken breast in flour, shaking off the excess.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
Cook the chicken breasts for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Pour white wine into the skillet, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom.
Return the chicken to the skillet, cover, and transfer to the oven.
Bake for 15-20 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
Serve hot, drizzled with the pan sauce.
