A fusion of classic churros and creamy cheesecake, this Churro Cheesecake Recipe is a crowd-pleasing dessert layered with cinnamon sugar and flaky crescent roll dough.
Cinnamon Sugar:
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
½ cup granulated sugar
Cheesecake Bars:
Two 8-ounce packages refrigerated crescent roll dough or sheets
16 ounces full-fat cream cheese, softened to room temperature
¾ cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and press one sheet of crescent roll dough into the bottom.
In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar, egg, and vanilla extract; mix until fully combined.
Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough.
Top with the second sheet of crescent roll dough.
Brush melted butter over the top and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
Bake for 30–35 minutes until golden and set.
Cool completely before slicing into bars. Serve at room temperature or chilled.
Ensure the cream cheese is softened for a smooth filling.
You can use crescent roll sheets for easier assembly.
For an extra crisp top, broil for 1–2 minutes at the end.
