A fusion of classic churros and creamy cheesecake, this Churro Cheesecake Recipe is a crowd-pleasing dessert layered with cinnamon sugar and flaky crescent roll dough.

  • Cinnamon Sugar:

    • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

    • ½ cup granulated sugar

 

  • Cheesecake Bars:

    • Two 8-ounce packages refrigerated crescent roll dough or sheets

    • 16 ounces full-fat cream cheese, softened to room temperature

    • ¾ cup granulated sugar

    • 1 large egg

    • 1½ teaspoons vanilla extract

    • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  • Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and press one sheet of crescent roll dough into the bottom.

  • In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar, egg, and vanilla extract; mix until fully combined.

  • Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough.

  • Top with the second sheet of crescent roll dough.

  • Brush melted butter over the top and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.

  • Bake for 30–35 minutes until golden and set.

 

  • Cool completely before slicing into bars. Serve at room temperature or chilled.

Notes

  • Ensure the cream cheese is softened for a smooth filling.

  • You can use crescent roll sheets for easier assembly.

 

  • For an extra crisp top, broil for 1–2 minutes at the end.
