Crack Burgers

These Crack Burgers are the ultimate indulgent twist on a classic cheeseburger — juicy ground chuck mixed with sour cream, ranch seasoning, crispy bacon, and melty cheddar cheese. Every bite is packed with flavor, making them a hit for summer BBQs, family dinners, or weekend treats. Serve them on toasted buns with your favorite toppings for a burger you’ll crave again and again!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ lb ground chuck (or quality ground beef)

  • 3 Tbsp sour cream

  • 2 Tbsp ranch dressing mix

  • ⅓ cup cooked and crumbled bacon

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • Hamburger buns

  • Lettuce, tomato, mustard, mayo (for topping)

Optional:

  • Drizzle of olive oil for cooking or finishing

  • Small spread of sunflower seed butter for a nutty depth

Instructions

  • Preheat grill or skillet to medium-high heat.

  • In a large bowl, combine ground chuck, sour cream, ranch dressing mix, bacon, and cheddar cheese. Mix gently until just combined (do not overwork the meat).

  • Form mixture into 4–6 equal patties, depending on desired size.

  • Lightly oil the grill or skillet. Cook patties for 4–5 minutes per side, or until cooked to your preferred doneness.

  • Toast hamburger buns, if desired.

  • Assemble burgers with lettuce, tomato, mustard, mayo, and your favorite toppings.

  • Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • Don’t press down on patties while cooking; this keeps the burgers juicy.

  • For extra richness, add a small spread of sunflower seed butter before cooking.

  • Pairs perfectly with fries, onion rings, or a crisp salad.
