Creamy garlic herb chicken thighs

A simple and flavorful dish featuring tender chicken thighs cooked in a creamy garlic herb sauce.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs, bone-in and skin-on
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
  3. Add chicken to the skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown.
  4. Remove chicken and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, sauté garlic, thyme, and rosemary for 1 minute.
  6. Pour in chicken broth and scrape up any browned bits.
  7. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  8. Return chicken to the skillet and cook for another 10 minutes until fully cooked.
  9. Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
