creamy garlic steak and pasta

A delicious and satisfying dish combining tender steak with creamy garlic sauce and pasta.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the steak with salt and pepper.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak and cook to your desired doneness. Remove from skillet and let rest.
  4. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  6. Slice the steak and add it back to the skillet along with the cooked pasta. Toss to combine.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, you can use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
  • Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for extra flavor.
  • Make sure not to overcook the steak for the best texture.
