Creamy 4-Cheese Lobster Mac and Cheese Recipe

  • 8 oz elbow macaroni
  • 1 lb cooked lobster meat, chopped
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Gruyère cheese
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook macaroni according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour to make a roux.
  4. Gradually whisk in milk and heavy cream until smooth.
  5. Add cheddar and Gruyère cheeses, stirring until melted and creamy.
  6. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  7. Fold in cooked macaroni and lobster meat.
  8. Transfer mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  10. Let cool slightly before serving.
