  • 8 oz elbow macaroni
  • 1 lb lobster meat, cooked and chopped
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Gruyère cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Cook macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in flour to make a roux.
  4. Gradually whisk in milk until smooth. Cook until thickened.
  5. Add cheddar and Gruyère cheeses, stirring until melted.
  6. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  7. Fold in cooked macaroni and lobster meat.
  8. Transfer to a baking dish and sprinkle breadcrumbs on top.
  9. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
