A quick and flavorful dish combining miso and butter for a creamy, umami-packed noodle meal.

  • 200g noodles (udon or spaghetti)
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp white miso paste
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 green onion, sliced
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Cook noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a pan, melt butter over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Stir in miso paste and soy sauce until smooth.
  5. Add cooked noodles and toss to coat evenly.
  6. Drizzle with sesame oil and top with green onions and sesame seeds.

  • Use fresh miso for best flavor.
  • Adjust butter or miso to taste.
