Creamy Pesto Chicken Skillet

A quick and delicious one-pan meal featuring tender chicken in a creamy pesto sauce.

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup pesto
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then cook for 5-6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
  3. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
  5. Pour in heavy cream, pesto, and parmesan cheese. Stir until smooth.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Serve warm.
