  • 12 jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stuff each cooked pasta shell with the cheese mixture.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix marinara sauce and heavy cream together.
  6. Spread a layer of the marinara sauce mixture on the bottom of a baking dish.
  7. Place the stuffed shells in the baking dish and pour the remaining sauce over the top.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  9. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  10. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Feel free to add spinach or other vegetables to the cheese mixture for added nutrition.
  • For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the cheese mixture.
  • This dish can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
