Vanilla Pudding

A simple and creamy vanilla pudding made with basic ingredients.

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, mix sugar, cornstarch, and salt.
  2. Gradually stir in milk until smooth.
  3. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and butter.
  5. Pour into serving dishes and chill for at least 2 hours.

Notes

  • Use whole milk for a creamier texture.
  • For a richer taste, substitute half the milk with heavy cream.
