A spooky Halloween dessert featuring rich chocolate brownie cups shaped like creepy cauldrons.

Ingredients

  • 1 box (18 oz) brownie mix
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 cup chocolate frosting
  • 12 gummy worms
  • Green food coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 12-cup muffin tin.
  2. Mix brownie batter according to package instructions using oil, eggs, and water.
  3. Fill each muffin cup 3/4 full with batter.
  4. Bake for 18-20 minutes until set. Let cool completely.
  5. Tint frosting with green food coloring if desired.
  6. Frost each brownie cup and top with a gummy worm crawling over the edge.

Notes

  • For extra creepiness, add crushed chocolate cookies as ‘dirt’ before the worms
  • Use a piping bag for cleaner frosting application
  • Store in airtight container for up to 3 days
