  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 8 oz lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until softened.
  3. Stir in crushed tomatoes, broth, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a boil.
  4. Add broken lasagna noodles and cook until tender, about 10-12 minutes.
  5. Reduce heat and stir in ricotta, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheeses until melted and creamy.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
