Espresso Martini Cake

A rich and indulgent espresso martini cake that combines the flavors of coffee, vodka, and Kahlúa in a decadent dessert.

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup strong brewed espresso, cooled
  • 1/4 cup vodka
  • 1/4 cup Kahlúa
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch cake pan.
  2. In a bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
  4. Stir in espresso, vodka, and Kahlúa.
  5. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  6. Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture until combined.
  7. Pour batter into the pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cool before serving.

Notes

  • For a stronger coffee flavor, use a double shot of espresso.
