  • 1 cup cake flour, sifted

  • 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Beat egg whites with cream of tartar and salt until soft peaks form.
  3. Gradually add sugar while continuing to beat until stiff peaks form.
  4. Fold in sifted flour and vanilla extract gently.
  5. Pour the batter into an ungreased tube pan.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  7. Invert the pan to cool completely before removing the cake.
