  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla and cream cheese.
  5. Alternately add dry ingredients and sour cream to the wet mixture, starting and ending with dry ingredients.
  6. Divide batter evenly into cupcake liners.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cool before serving.
