  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. Add melted butter and sugar to the mashed bananas and mix well.
  4. Stir in cocoa powder, flour, salt, vanilla extract, and baking powder until combined.
  5. If desired, fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Let cool before cutting into squares and serving.
