Garlic Butter Mashed Potatoes

  • 2 lbs (900g) potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup (115g) butter
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Boil potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  2. Drain potatoes and return to the pot.
  3. Melt butter in a small pan, add garlic, and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Add garlic butter, milk, salt, and pepper to potatoes.
  5. Mash until smooth and creamy.
  6. Serve warm.
