Ingredients

  • 10 cups popped popcorn
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • Mini chocolate chips (for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, water, and salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.
  3. Bring to a boil and cook until the mixture reaches 250°F (hard ball stage).
  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Pour the syrup over the popcorn in a large bowl. Mix well.
  6. Shape the popcorn into balls using lightly greased hands.
  7. Place on the prepared baking sheet and let cool.
  8. Melt white chocolate chips with coconut oil. Drizzle over the popcorn balls.
  9. Use mini chocolate chips to create ghost faces before the chocolate sets.
  10. Let the chocolate harden before serving.
