Gluten-Free Chicken Nuggets

Crispy gluten-free chicken nuggets that are easy to make and perfect for a quick meal or snack.

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup gluten-free flour (such as almond flour or rice flour)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup gluten-free breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix gluten-free flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. In another bowl, whisk egg and water.
  4. Dip chicken pieces into the flour mixture, then into the egg mixture, and finally coat with gluten-free breadcrumbs.
  5. Place coated chicken nuggets on the baking sheet. Drizzle or spray with olive oil.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and cooked through.
  7. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, use an air fryer at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • Use gluten-free certified ingredients if avoiding cross-contamination is critical.
