Gluten-Free Chocolate Cake

A delicious and moist gluten-free chocolate cake that’s easy to make and perfect for any occasion.

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 cup cold water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together gluten-free flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add vegetable oil, vanilla extract, apple cider vinegar, and cold water to the dry ingredients. Mix until smooth.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

  • Use a gluten-free flour blend that includes xanthan gum for best results.
