  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the almond flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the melted coconut oil, maple syrup, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. If using, fold in the dark chocolate chips.
  5. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking pan.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool before cutting into squares and serving.
