  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 2 cups bow tie pasta
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent.
  3. Stir in the crushed tomatoes, beef broth, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
  5. Add the bow tie pasta and cook until al dente, about 10 minutes.
  6. Stir in the ricotta cheese until well combined.
  7. Serve hot, topped with shredded mozzarella cheese.
