  • 12 large scallops
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Pat scallops dry and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear scallops for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  4. Remove scallops from the pan and set aside.
  5. Reduce heat to medium and add butter.
  6. Sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  7. Stir in soy sauce and lemon juice.
  8. Return scallops to the pan, coat in sauce, and cook for 1 minute.
  9. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
