18g Protein Egg White Quesadillas – Quick Breakfast

A quick and healthy high-protein meal made with egg whites and cheese, perfect for breakfast or a light lunch.

Ingredients

  • 4 large egg whites
  • 1/4 cup shredded low-fat cheese
  • 1/4 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1/4 cup diced onions
  • 1 whole wheat tortilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
  2. Add diced bell peppers and onions, sauté for 2 minutes.
  3. Pour egg whites into the pan and scramble with vegetables.
  4. Season with salt and black pepper.
  5. Place the tortilla on top of the egg mixture and press lightly.
  6. Flip the tortilla carefully to cook the other side for 1 minute.
  7. Sprinkle cheese over the egg mixture and fold the tortilla in half.
  8. Cook for another minute until cheese melts.
  9. Remove from heat, slice, and serve.
