  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, sliced
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 2 green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. Mix honey, lemon juice, and soy sauce in a bowl. Set aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook for 5 minutes until browned.
  3. Add garlic and ginger. Stir for 30 seconds.
  4. Add bell pepper and carrot. Cook for 3 minutes.
  5. Pour in the honey lemon sauce. Stir to coat.
  6. Mix cornstarch with water. Add to the pan and stir until sauce thickens.
  7. Garnish with green onions. Serve hot.

  • Use fresh lemon juice for best flavor.
  • Adjust honey to taste for sweetness.
