Instant Pot Lasagna

A quick and easy recipe for making lasagna in an Instant Pot, perfect for busy weeknights.

  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 24 ounces marinara sauce
  • 15 ounces ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Set the Instant Pot to sauté mode and brown the ground beef with onions and garlic.
  2. Add marinara sauce and stir to combine.
  3. Break the lasagna noodles in half and layer them on top of the meat mixture.
  4. Spread ricotta cheese over the noodles and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
  5. Add mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  6. Close the lid and set the Instant Pot to manual high pressure for 25 minutes.
  7. Once done, allow for a natural release for 10 minutes, then quick release any remaining pressure.
  8. Let it sit for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for extra nutrition.
  • For a vegetarian version, substitute ground beef with lentils or mushrooms.
  • Make sure to layer the ingredients properly to avoid burning.
