  • 4 boneless pork chops (1 inch thick)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season pork chops with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Cook pork chops for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté mushrooms until soft.
  5. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  6. Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth. Stir in thyme.
  7. Simmer for 5 minutes until sauce thickens.
  8. Return pork chops to the skillet and coat with sauce.
  9. Serve hot.
