  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Stir in Parmesan cheese, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
  6. Return shrimp to the skillet and cook for another minute.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
