Kimchi Stuffing With Sage & Chestnuts

Ingredients

  • 4 cups stale bread, cubed
  • 1 cup kimchi, chopped
  • 1/2 cup roasted chestnuts, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh sage, minced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup vegetable broth
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, sauté onion and garlic in butter until soft.
  3. Add kimchi, chestnuts, and sage. Cook for 3 minutes.
  4. In a bowl, mix bread cubes with the kimchi mixture.
  5. Pour in broth and beaten egg. Stir well.
  6. Transfer to a greased baking dish.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

  • Use day-old bread for better texture.
