Korean BBQ Meatballs with Spicy Mayo Dip Will Steal the Show

Tender and juicy meatballs with a Korean BBQ glaze, served with a spicy mayo dip for extra flavor.

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Korean BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp sriracha
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, and green onions until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on the baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes until fully cooked.
  5. Brush the meatballs with Korean BBQ sauce and return to the oven for 5 minutes.
  6. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, sriracha, and rice vinegar to make the spicy mayo dip.
  7. Serve meatballs warm with the dip on the side.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, broil the meatballs for 2-3 minutes after glazing.
  • You can substitute ground chicken or turkey for a lighter version.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
