This refreshing lemon balm recipe blends fresh lemon balm leaves, lemon, honey, and ginger into a soothing herbal tea perfect for calming the mind and supporting gentle weight loss. Ideal for sipping warm or iced!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh lemon balm leaves (or 1 tablespoon dried)

  • 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger (optional)

  • Juice of ½ lemon

  • 2 cups filtered water

  • 1 teaspoon raw honey (optional)

Instructions

  • Boil water – In a kettle or small pot, bring 2 cups of filtered water to a boil.

  • Prepare herbs – Place lemon balm leaves and grated ginger (if using) in a teapot or tea infuser.

  • Steep – Pour hot water over the herbs, cover, and let steep for 7–10 minutes.

  • Strain – Remove herbs and pour tea into your favorite mug.

  • Finish – Stir in lemon juice and raw honey if desired. Enjoy warm or let cool and serve over ice.

Notes

  • You can double the batch and store in the fridge for up to 3 days.

  • Use dried lemon balm in winter—just reduce quantity to 1 tablespoon.

  • Add a sprig of mint or a slice of cucumber for extra freshness.
