Lemon Butter Salmon

A simple and delicious lemon butter salmon recipe that’s quick to prepare and packed with flavor.

  • 2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lemon (juiced and zested)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the salmon fillets skin-side down and cook for 4 minutes.
  4. Flip the salmon and cook for another 3 minutes.
  5. Reduce heat to low, add butter, garlic, and lemon juice to the skillet.
  6. Spoon the melted butter over the salmon for 1 minute.
  7. Garnish with lemon zest and parsley before serving.
