Low Carb Cheesy Taco Bake

A delicious and easy-to-make low carb cheesy taco bake that’s perfect for a quick dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add the taco seasoning and stir to combine.
  4. Spread the cooked beef in a baking dish.
  5. Layer the salsa, sour cream, and cheeses over the beef.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Remove from the oven and top with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

  • You can use ground turkey or chicken instead of beef.
  • Add diced tomatoes or jalapeños for extra flavor.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
