Irresistible Mango Sticky Rice Dessert in Just 30 Minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup glutinous rice
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 ripe mango, sliced
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Rinse the glutinous rice until water runs clear.
  2. Soak the rice in water for 30 minutes.
  3. Drain and steam the rice for 20 minutes.
  4. Heat coconut milk, sugar, and salt in a saucepan until dissolved.
  5. Mix half the coconut mixture with the cooked rice.
  6. Serve the rice with mango slices and drizzle with remaining coconut sauce.

Notes

  • Use fresh, ripe mango for best flavor.
  • Adjust sugar to taste.
  • Serve warm or at room temperature.
