Maple Dijon Salmon

A simple and flavorful salmon dish with a sweet and tangy maple Dijon glaze.

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, mix maple syrup, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, garlic, and black pepper to make the glaze.
  3. Pat salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. Place them on the baking sheet.
  4. Brush the glaze evenly over the salmon fillets.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Drizzle with lemon juice and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a crispier top, broil the salmon for the last 2 minutes.
  • Substitute honey for maple syrup if preferred.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
